ENGLISH (Voor Nederlands, zie onder) Welcome at www.corinthianworld.freeservers.com !!! This site is completely dedicated to my collection of Corinthian Figures. At current, May 24, 2006, I have 1391 different figures, which ones can be found on this site. The green figures are in my collection, the red ones I'm still looking for. Every new figure I receive will be registrated on my site within days, so this site is always completely up-to-date ! A brief introduction: For those visitors who don't know what corinthian are. 'Corinthians' are little, good-looking plastic figures of famous football players from clubs and countries all over the globe. The smallest ones, about 3 cm. in size are called microstars. The middle size, 7 cm. are called prostars and there are even figures which are about 20 cm. in size, the Prostars XL. I only collect the regular prostars. 'Prostars' can be devided in many sub-categories. The pre-1999 figures are called 'headliners'. These group contains some of the rarest and so most expensive figures ever released! After 1999 corinthian started releasing regular series of great players: the regular prostars. Alongside this regular prostars there are many special prostars, which can be found under 'other prostars 1 & 2': for example there are figures of famous legendary players, celebration packs of teams that won prices, special 4, 6, 12, 16 and 18-packs, commercial releases and many more! There are also figures with a gold instead of a green base: the Club Gold. These figures are only availabe for members of the official collector club, but they can also be found on eBay, where I buy most of my figures. Please read further below: |

Corinthians in Holland:
Collection Corinthians is especially popular in the UK and Japan, but it's popularity is rising in the Netherlands. Since about a year the first Dutch Official Reseller (www.prostars.nl) exists. But that's still the only one in the Netherlands, that's why we Dutch collectors are frequent visitors of eBay and English Resellers-sites, which can be found under 'links'. The biggest collector in the Netherlands is Lennart van de Winkel from Neeritter. His collections contains more than 2500 different figures! His collection can be seen at his website, www.corinthian.freeservers.com !
Another big Dutch collector is Maikel Rozijn from Ede. His collection contains around 1400 figures. At current he doesn't have a website yet, but he's working on it so his site can be expected soon. I wish to thank both Lennart and Maikel for the many, often rare, figures I have been able to add to my collection thanks to them. Furthermore I wish to thank all the many collectors and (re)sellers from the Netherlands, England, Japan, Signapore, Italy, Germany, USA, Canada, Belgium, France, Scotland, China, Australia and many more countries who helped me obtaining the figures in my collection. Deze site is geheel gewijd aan mijn verzameling corinthian voetbalpoppetjes. Corinthians zijn een fenomeen in Engeland en Japan, in Nederland staat het nog in de kinderschoenen. Een korte introductie: Er zijn corinthians in 3 maten: de microstars (3 cm), de prostars (7 cm) en de Prostars XL (20 cm.) Ik verzamel alleen normale prostars. Prostars van voor 1999 worden Headliners genoemd: hieronder vallen enkelen van de zeldzaamste en duurste figuurtjes die er gemaakt zijn. Sinds 1999 heten ze 'prostars'. Om de zoveel tijd verschijnen er zogenaamde 'series' poppetjes van grote spelers: de reguliere prostars. Daarnaast zijn er nog vele speciale uitgaven, zoals team-packs ter ere van een grote prestatie, speciale 4,6,12,16 en 18-packs en poppetjes van legendarische spelers uit het verleden. Zie hiervoor 'other prostars'. Er zijn ook poppetjes met een goud i.p.v. een groen voetje: de Club Gold. Deze zijn alleen beschikbaar voor leden van de Collector Club of via eBay. Mijn Collectie: Momenteel (26 Mei 2006) heb ik 1388 poppetjes. De site wordt dagelijks bijgehouden en is dus altijd up to date. De poppetjes in het groen heb ik in mijn collectie, die in het rood zoek ik nog. Andere verzamelaars: De grootste verzamelaar in Nederland is Lennart van de Winkel uit Neeritter.
